The warnings pasted in front of all of the doors. Unfortunately no one was able to keep their cellphones shut off completely while outdoors so there was interference during the performance.

The mural I commissioned from Thom Norman: "Please Turn Off Your Cellphone". There are three score parts with the central portion of the musical score is an amalgamation of transcribed sounds from Scotstoun Glasgow. Musicians were set to play the score in various locations and small devices were also hidden nearby.

Some images documenting the installation of the mural. Each set of notes were placed by hand to create a mask while a single color of paint was applied. The final step involved peeling back the vinyl to revealing bits of the previous mural underneath.
